The following terms & conditions outline the terms & conditions on which we (Scotjet Limited) supply any of the products listed on our website. Please read through the terms and conditions carefully prior to completing any orders from our site. Ordering any of our products confirms that you agree to be bound to these terms & conditions.
Who we are
www.scotjetltd.co.uk is operated by Scotjet Limited who are registered in Scotland under company number SC190195 with our registered office as 45 South Avenue, Paisley, Renfrewshire, PA2 7SG. Our main trading address is 50 Loanbank Quadrant, Govan Industrial Estate, Glasgow, G51 3HZ. Our VAT registration number is 717332840.
Your rights
Scotjet Limited trade with full compliance with UK consumer law including Distance Selling Regulations. Our terms & conditions do not affect your statutory rights.
Pricing
All prices displayed are in GBP (£) and exclude VAT which is charged at 20% where applicable.
Payment
Scotjet Limited accept most major credit cards & Paypal. Credit card payments are submitted securely to our card processer Worldpay through Create Payments which fully complies with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS), Level 1. Alternatively, we accept payment through Paypal.
Delivery
For in stock items we normally ship within 1 working day. Some of our products such as Drain Cleaning Nozzles may be subject to increased delivery time as they require to be drilled to the customers specifications. We aim to ship all orders within 5-7 working days.
Postage is calculated based on weight and length with all costs displayed in basket and checkout.
UK delivery
Small packages up to 2kg £5.95
Orders up to 20kg - £11.00 carriage
Over 20kg - £20.00 carriage
Long length orders such as 2m drain rods - £20.00 carriage.
Pallet charge £50.00
International delivery
International delivery is available and charged depending on weight. If your country is not showing in the delivery options please contact us for a delivery quote.
Order Collection
Goods paid online may be collected in store. We will notify you as soon as possible when your order is ready for collection.
Back Orders
We try to ensure all products listed are available from stock ready to ship. If we are temporarily out of stock of one of your items we will place it in back order. We will email you to make you aware and give you the option to cancel the order should you be unable to wait. Should you wish to receive part delivery with the remainder to follow you will only be charged single carriage.
Returns & Cancelations
Item not wanted - 14 Days to return
If for any reason you change your mind and wish to return your product you may cancel your order within 14 days after receiving delivery.
Cancelations must be notified by email to customerservice@scotjetltd.co.uk prior to returning the goods. All unwanted returned goods must be returned intact and in their original packaging. Expense of returning goods and risk is the responsibility of the customer.
You will need to arrange the return of the goods yourself using a reputable carrier, tracking number is advisable. Return address is Scotjet Ltd, 50 Loanbank Quadrant, Govan Industrial Estate, Glasgow, G51 3HZ.
Refunds will be processed as soon as possible and transferred using the same method as the original purchase.
Faulty, Incorrectly Supplied or Damaged Items - 14 Days to return
If we have supplied an incorrect item, or if it damaged when received or proves to be faulty when received you should notify us within 24 hours of delivery by email customerservice@scotjetltd.co.uk quoting your order number and item to be returned. Scotjet will arrange the uplift of goods.
After inspection of retuned goods we are satisfied as to the alleged defects we will either replace the goods or issue a full refund including any carriage costs incurred.
All tools come with a manufacturers warranty, should your item develop a fault covered by this warranty we will direct you to the manufacturers warranty procedure as this is normally the fastest way to resolving your warranty claim.
If your purchase develops a fault within the manufacturers warranty period but outside of our 14 day returns period Scotjet can handle the return of the goods for you. A handling charge will apply and any customs or duty charges must be paid by the customer.
It is advisable that all warranty issues are dealt with direct with the manufacturer as per the manufacturers advice.
Our returns policy does not affect your statutory rights.
Please note - any custom built/altered specification products such as jetting nozzles and cut to length hose are non returnable.
